Israel-Palestine
Israeli soldiers fired on Palestinian protesters in the occupied Gaza Strip today, wounding 41, including a 13-year-old boy who was shot in the head, according to the Palestinian health ministry. Protests had been organized to mark the 52nd anniversary of an arson attack on Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam. At least 27 people were shot with live ammunition, mostly in the legs, the ministry said.
