Israel
Police fired warning shots and more than 100 people were injured as rival groups of Eritreans fought in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv today. The trouble was sparked when Eritreans opposed to the country’s government arrived to protest an event organized by the Eritrean embassy. Footage shared on social media showed Eritrean government supporters attacking the protesters with clubs as Israeli police appeared blindsided by the extent of the violence. President Isaias Afwerki, a former rebel, has ruled Eritrea since 1993, jailed hundreds of opponents and never held an election. Tens of thousands of Eritrean men have fled the country to avoid open-ended conscription.

North Korea
North Korea fired several cruise missiles into the sea today, according to South Korea, in the latest of a series of missile tests.
