“If it is destined for us to be in the opposition, we will do it with our backs straight until we topple this dangerous government and return to lead the country in our way.” - Benjamin Netanyahu.
After 12 years, Benjamin Netanyahu is no longer prime minister of Israel. The Israeli parliament today approved a new coalition headed by the ultranationalist Naftali Bennett. Ethiopia
"Nobody has given us any aid. Almost everyone is on the verge of death - our eyes are affected by the hunger, the situation is perilous.”
World leaders from the G7, a group made up of seven so-called advanced economies, have issued a statement calling for unimpeded humanitarian access to Ethiopia’s conflict-ravaged Tigray region, where the UN estimates 350,000 people are living in famine conditions. Ethiopia’s government denies the UN analysis is accurate and, despite months of pleading from aid agencies, continues to resist granting full access.
