Iraq
At least four people have been killed and 17 wounded by a car bombing in Baghdad. This is noteworthy because, while once part of daily life in the city, car bomb attacks have largely stopped since ISIS was routed in 2017. As this piece on Al Jazeera points out, though, this is an election year and things are particularly tense right now.

Myanmar
One of the top anti-coup protesters in Myanmar has been arrested, according to his fellow activists. Wai Moe Naing was rammed by a car while leading a motorbike protest, friends said on social media. Reuters has more information here.

India
As vaccine selfies flood social media in the countries lucky enough to have secured significant supplies, many other nations are struggling.
